When we started The Songs Of The Week, we set out to do a full year's worth of songs.
According to Google Calculator,
1 year = 365.242199 days, or
1 year = 52.177457 weeks
So that means we need to release 52.177457 Songs-Of-The-Week in order to make a full year's worth. We've already released 52 Songs-Of-The-Week, so now we just need .177457 of a song.
But when to release it? We've consistently released one every week for 52 weeks. Now we need to release this last one precisely .177457 of a week after the 52nd song. According to Google Calculator, .177457 of a week = 107,325.994 seconds. Using timeanddate.com, if you add 107,325.994 seconds to April 5, 2008, Saturday night at midnight, you arrive at Monday, April 7, 2008 at 5:48:45 AM.
The Redding Brothers song "Dragonfly" will be featured on WCTC-AM out of NJ somewhere between about 4:20-5:00 CST this afternoon. To listen online, click here:
Before we ever had a band, we had the LeBaron convertible, the most worn-out awesomest convertible ever. It leaked when it rained, and sometimes it didn't work, but driving around with the top down and the air conditioner on full-blast was a Summer experience not to be missed.
LeBaron, by Gabriel
Cherry ice and thaw it all LeBaron drive the whole 2581 miles left to go. Well the tire's got a hole no not one, it's all four I've never slept on the hood before. Wash liquid frozen near dead in Wyoming. It seem we're stuck, but hey! Keep going!
(Chorus) Keep going on! Drag the world along! Never stop until we get to everything!
(Bridge) Feel me empower earth as the day goes Feel it come to a stop because I said so. And I really think for sure I am the only one in awe at all, awe at all. Am I just the only one to find awe in the everything he knows?
